Implementation of Red Rice Consumption Education for Diabetes Mellitus Patients

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a non-communicable metabolic disease characterized by hyperglycemia due to a decrease in the amount of insulin secretion or insulin insensitivity or both. The author uses a description method, with a case study approach to research, this case study was carried out on 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients. This data was obtained by means of: interviews, examinations, activity observations, obtaining records and diagnostic reports. After 3 days of nursing actions, the diagnosis: The inability of the family to care for sick family members is related to the knowledge deficit. Anxiety related to lack of knowledge of the disease. Most of the implementation has been in accordance with the action plans that have been implemented. With research on the application of education on brown rice consumption in both Diabetes Mellitus patients, it can reduce blood sugar levels. In this study, it is more to promote education about brown rice consumption in both Diabetes Mellitus patients. Because the benefits can lower blood sugar levels
